Claude Code runs your launch.
Ship Kit reads your repo and checks your live site, then writes the whole launch: the fixes, the page, the posts in your voice, and a dated plan. You review it. You post it.
First 25 copies $9, then $19, then $29 · one-time · it never posts for you
Tested on a real launch. We ran Ship Kit on Afterword, a Mac app that writes your meeting notes, during its launch week. Everything below is its real output.
A landing page in Afterword's own brand.
One HTML file in its dark look, with a muted loop of the real demo in the hero, the real prices and its FAQ. Nothing invented.
Twelve launch posts in the maker's voice.
X, four subreddits each written for its own rules, Show HN, Product Hunt and personal messages. Every one passed the slop linter.
A dated plan and a weekly SEO page.
A run sheet to launch day with times and links, and a sourced "Granola AI alternative" page that passed all 15 QA checks.
Open the folder it wrote.
Everything lands in .shipkit/ in your repo. These are real files from the Afterword run, trimmed for length, not mockups.
Posts that don't read like AI wrote them.
Every draft goes through a linter for AI tells, then a skeptical reader for that platform. Paste any launch post below; the same rules run right here in your browser.
Seven commands. One is enough.
/shipkit:launchThe whole launch, in one go.
Runs check, page and posts, then writes a dated run sheet, UTM links for every channel, a directory plan, a tracker, a reply guide, and a launch kit page with copy buttons.
/shipkit:checkFind what will hurt the launch.
A scored pre-flight of your repo and live site. Every verdict cites its evidence, and every fix is exact.
/shipkit:pageA landing page from your repo.
One HTML file in your brand, with your real screenshots, plus the share image, llms.txt and sitemap. Only facts it can source.
/shipkit:lintA second reader for every post.
A linter for AI tells, then an independent critic that reads it as that platform's crowd, and a check against the subreddit's dated rules. A score, the weakest line, and fixes in your own words.
/shipkit:postsPosts in your voice.
An X launch post and thread, a 15-second video shot list, a week of follow-ups, Reddit posts written per subreddit and checked against its rules, a Show HN only if you qualify, Product Hunt, directory blurbs at every length, and personal messages.
/shipkit:seoOne honest page a week.
Free keyword research, a page with first-hand substance, a 15-point QA, staged for publishing, and an audit of earlier pages.
/shipkit:recapPost your receipts.
Totals from your launch tracker, a check of every directory listing, a results post in your voice and a 1200×675 card with your real numbers. Blank days stay blank.
Two weeks of launch work, already dated.
Ship Kit writes the plan into a launch kit page. Scroll through a launch with it.

My call ends. The note is already in my Obsidian vault. I built Afterword, a Mac menu-bar app…

I'm founder No. 01 of Ship Kit, a Claude Code plugin that runs your launch.
Fair questions.
Does it post for me?
No. It never posts, sends, submits, deploys or signs up for anything. It writes files in .shipkit/ and you post from your own accounts. That keeps your accounts safe and the posts yours.
Will it make things up?
It's built not to. Every fact goes into .shipkit/product.md with its source, and pages and posts may only use those facts. Anything missing, like a quote or a number, becomes a [needs: …] slot for you.
What do I need?
Claude Code on any plan, and Node 18 or newer. The scripts have no dependencies and only use free public sources. There's nothing else to pay for.
Will Reddit remove an AI-written post?
Some subreddits will: many now remove AI-written posts, and a few ban promoting content tools at all. Ship Kit tells you which ones, from rules it dates and re-checks. It never tries to make AI text pass as yours. It drafts, then asks you to put it in your own words where a community requires it.
Is it only for Mac apps?
No. It was tested on a Mac app first, but it works on any repo: web apps, SaaS, CLIs, libraries, plugins and mobile apps.
Why not use a free skill pack?
Use them; they're good libraries of frameworks. Ship Kit is narrower. It looks at your actual repo and live site, follows each platform's current rules, and hands you a finished, dated launch.
How does the price ladder work?
Copies 1 to 25 are $9, or more if you want to pay more. Copies 26 to 75 are $19. After that it's $29. The counter on this page shows where it stands.
Can I use it for clients?
Yes. Pro covers every product you make, client work included. If several people on a team use it, Studio covers five.
What if it's not for me?
Reply to your Gumroad receipt within 14 days for a full refund. No questions.
Stop freezing at "now post it".
